Canoe Service to The Arch!

Big Muddy Adventures is launching the first scheduled canoe trips to The Gateway Arch starting next week. Adventurous clients can line up for a turn every Monday and Wednesday starting June 4 at the cobblestone Arch parking lot. Big Muddy Adventures will then take passengers approximately 9 miles up the Mississippi River where their big river canoe guides will be waiting with 30’ voyager canoes ready to set "sail," following the path of Lewis and Clark.

This trip includes a stop for snacks on what Big Muddy Adventures is dubbing "a pristine wild river island," as well as paddling under six bridges in the approach to Downtown St. Louis. No canoe skills or paddling experience are needed for this guided river adventure. The trip is also child and family friendly, but one adult must accompany each child under the age of 10.

The total canoe trip is three hours, and the cost is $45 per person, $60 with box lunch.
