Everbowl Opens in Ladue

Ever been to Everbowl

Ladue’s newest foodie attraction is this California-based smoothie bowl concept. Located in the old Fro Yo, next to J. McLaughlin at the southeast corner of Clayton and Lindbergh, the opening of a health food chain in this area seems long overdue.

The brand’s “Fuel for Movement” motto plays into the superfood ingredients blended into every bowl. Smoothie bases include chia, matcha, pitaya, and more; toppings include bee pollen, goji berries, and freshly cut fruit. If those ingredients sound a little too healthy, focus on the fact that there is no added sugar to their products!

The interior is completely shifted from the bright white color scheme of the old frozen yogurt place to a calming wood aesthetic, evoking feelings of being outdoors … kind of. You have the choice of ordering from their set menu or customizing your own creation. I ordered their Sunset bowl; the taste of the coconut smoothie base was so strong that you could have added rum and called it a pina colada - but I’m not complaining about that. If cold, blended fruit topped with granola doesn’t excite you, consider giving it a try for the brand’s spokesperson - retired NFL quarterback Drew Brees.

With existing storefronts in flashy communities like Calabasas, California (hello, Kris Jenner and Co.), I’m sure the buzz around Everbowl will only get louder. Whether or not you’re a health food junkie, an avid Instagrammer, or someone who just happened to walk by, Everbowl is worth a taste.
