New Exhibit at IPHF

A new exhibit is open this week at The International Photography Hall of Fame and Museum. IPHF presents the Behind the Lens: A Woman’s View. The show features photographic works from eleven notable women photographers, including: Lynsey Addario, Xyza Cruz Bacani, Ruth Bernhard, Margaret Bourke-White, Julia Margaret Cameron, Anne Geddes, Dorothea Lange, Sally Mann, Susan Meiselas, Olivia Parker, and Carrie Mae Weems. The exhibition, curated by Eva Klingenberg, runs from Wednesday, March 17 through Saturday, May 8.

In conjunction with the exhibition, IPHF will host its third Legends of Photography Lecture with Olivia Parker on May 4 from 6-7pm.

Admission to IPHF’s virtual Legends of Photography Lectures is $10 for members and $20 for non-members. Museum admission tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for seniors and students and can be purchased online at iphf.org. Members, military, and children under 6 are free. IPHF has special COVID-19 safety procedures in place to protect all members and guests.

The Behind the Lens: A Woman’s View exhibition will be on view during regular museum hours: Wednesday through Saturday, 11am to 4 pm at the IPHF, located at 3415 Olive Street in the Grand Center Arts District of St. Louis. 

The International Photography Hall of Fame and Museum is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to celebrate the achievements of the inventors, pioneers, and pivotal artists throughout the history of photography. The IPHF has preserved the art of photography and its contribution to modern civilization since 1965, and is the proud home to over 2,000 historical cameras and 30,000 images.
